Crafty Wishes Delivery Policy

Processing Time:  All items are handmade to order. Please allow 3–5 working days for your order to be created before dispatch. During busy periods (Mother’s Day, Christmas, etc.), processing times may be slightly longer — this will always be communicated.

Delivery Method:  Orders are sent via Royal Mail. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery Timeframes:

• Royal Mail 2nd Class: 2–4 working days
• Royal Mail 1st Class (if selected): 1–2 working days Please note: delivery times are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed.

Shipping Fees:  Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the size/weight of your order.

Local Delivery (within 3 miles):   Personal delivery is available within a 3‑mile radius of the London E4 area. This service is charged at the same rate as Royal Mail 2nd Class postage. You will receive a message to arrange a suitable delivery time once your order is ready. 

Safe‑Place Delivery (Local Delivery Only):  If you choose local delivery, you may request that your order is left in a safe place (e.g., porch, shed, neighbour, parcel box). Please ensure the location is secure and accessible. Once your order has been delivered to the agreed safe place, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer. Crafty Wishes cannot be held liable for loss, theft or damage after delivery has been completed. A photo may be taken as proof of delivery. If no safe place is provided and no one is home, delivery may need to be rearranged.

Delays & Lost Parcels:  Once your order has been posted, delivery is the responsibility of Royal Mail. If your parcel is delayed or missing, I will support you in raising a claim, but I cannot be held responsible for postal delays.

Royal Mail considers a parcel lost after:

• 10 working days (2nd Class)
• 7 working days (1st Class)

A replacement or refund will only be issued once Royal Mail confirms the item as lost.

Incorrect Addresses:  Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. Crafty Wishes cannot replace or refund orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Proof of Delivery   For local deliveries, a photo may be taken showing the parcel in the agreed safe place. This acts as confirmation that delivery has been completed.
